My language of choice, Java combines simplicity with extensibility to offer a framework with
unlimited options. I have been programming in Java since 1999, and have produced client-server,
web-based, and standalone applications. My experience includes front-end development with Swing and AWT as well as
back-end development using standard design patterns and principals. I have achieved three Java certifications including:
- Sun Certified Developer for the Java 2 Platform
- Sun Certified Web Component Developer for J2EE 1.4
- Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform 1.4

Java 2 Enterprise Edition is a powerful expansion of the Java language and framework which allows for the
reliable creation of enterprise-level applications using a robust collection of tools and methodologies. I have been programming
using J2EE since 2002. I have extensive experience with Enterprise Javabeans, Java Database Connectivity, Servlets, Remote Method Invocation, and
other J2EE APIs.

Java on the Web
Java provides a powerful suite of APIs for developing web interfaces for Java applications. This suite is complimented
by contributions from Apache and other third-party development teams. JSP provides a high degree of extensibility with simple tag-based and Java code-based scripting styles. I have been using JSP
since 2001 to develop the interface of powerful applications. I also have extensive experience with Tag Libraries, Jakarta Struts, and
other web-related Java technologies.
